GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Ten Grove City College women's lacrosse players scored goals Tuesday evening as the Wolverines earned a 20-1 win over visiting Allegheny (1-5-1, 0-1) in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Don Lyle Field. It is Grove City's seventh straight victory.
Sophomore midfielder
Mia Mygatt (Silver Spring, Md./Brookewood) paced the Wolverines by scoring a career-best five goals. She also assisted on two goals, giving her a career-high seven points.
Freshman midfielder
Avery Anderson (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) and junior midfielder
Tori Stevenson (Butler, Pa./Butler) both rifled in three goals while senior attack
Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) and junior attack
Gwen Shilling (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) each scored a pair of goals.
Grove City also received goals from junior attack

Robinette also recorded four assists while Anderson assisted on three goals. Blythe, LaForte, Rowell and Stevenson all tallied two assists.
Grove City (7-3, 3-0) led 5-1 after one quarter, then scored eight times in the second quarter to extend the lead. Blythe and Mygatt ignited the outburst with short-handed goals. Anderson closed the flurry with a power play goal with 100 seconds left in the half.
The Wolverines outshot Allegheny, 44-5. Allegheny had 31 turnovers while Grove City committed 20 turnovers.
Anderson and Robinette both caused three turnovers. Stevenson and freshman defender
Gabri Hallam (Buffalo, N.Y./Clarence) caused two turnovers each. Hallam led Grove City with eight draw controls while Shilling secured six draw controls.
LaForte led Grove City with five ground balls. Anderson and senior defender
Reese Hasley (Cheswick, Pa./Deer Lakes) each picked up four ground balls.

Mia Gallagher (Mogadore, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) earned her seventh win of the season by making one save.
The Wolverines will visit Westminster at 1 p.m. Saturday in conference action.
