GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference recognized Grove City College women's lacrosse players Taylor Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and Tori Stevenson (Butler, Pa./Butler) with weekly honors Monday afternoon after the duo helped Grove City to two conference victories last week.

Blythe, a junior attack, earned Offensive Player of the Week distinction. Classmate Stevenson earned the league's Midfielder of the Week honor. 

Blythe fired in four goals and added five assists Saturday in Grove City's 16-11 victory at conference rival Washington & Jefferson. Her nine points matched a season high for any player in the conference. Blythe scored three goals and added an assist in the fourth quarter of Saturday's triumph.

Wednesday, she scored twice to help Grove City roll to a 22-0 win over Geneva. Blythe leads the conference with 23 assists and her 98 career assists are tops in program history. She has 11 goals this year. Her 34 points rank second on the squad. 

Stevenson scored twice and picked up four assists Saturday at W&J. Against Geneva, Stevenson had a goal, six assists and six ground balls while also causing three turnovers. 

Stevenson leads Grove City with 35 points. She ranks second on the team in both goals (17) and assists (18). Her 13 caused turnovers are also the No. 2 figure on the team. 

Grove City (6-3, 2-0) has won six straight games. The Wolverines will host conference foe Allegheny at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
