GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team earned its first home win of the 2026 season Thursday night by earning a 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 victory over visiting Carlow in non-conference action at the Grove City College Arena.
Junior
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) paced Grove City's balanced offensive attack with five kills while sophomore
Reese Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) and freshman
Evan DiMalanta (Medina, Ohio/Highland) both had four kills. Freshman
Anderson Ross (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) added four kills in his home debut.

Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) both served three aces. Juniors
Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) and
Hayden McCreadie (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) each served a pair of aces.
Junior
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) distributed 15 assists. Sophomore
Brayden DiMalanta (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) added eight assists.
Evan DiMalanta recorded a team-leading five digs. GiannesKi and
Tieg Malcolm both had three blocks.
Grove City finished the match with a .413 hitting percentage, recording 33 kills on 63 attacks with only seven errors.
The Wolverines (2-4) will visit Penn State Behrend for three matches January 30-31 in Erie.
