ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team dropped a 23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-10 decision Tuesday night at Mount Union in non-conference play at Timken Gymnasium.
Freshman
Evan DiMalanta (Medina, Ohio/Highland) helped pace Grove City with a 12-kill, 10-dig double-double while junior
Carson Good (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) posted nine kills. Juniors
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) and
Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) both contributed six kills.
Junior setter
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) recorded 28 assists.
DiMalanta also paced Grove City with three blocks. Kessler and senior
Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) both had a pair of blocks. Gianneski tallied nine digs.
Grove City (1-4) will host Carlow at 7 p.m. Thursday in a non-conference match.
