GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team dropped a 19-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-13 decision Saturday afternoon to visiting Thiel (7-3, 2-0) in Presidents' Athletic Conference North Division action at the Grove City College Arena.
Senior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) led Grove City (6-3, 0-2) with a season-high 12 kills while junior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) recorded 10 kills.
Senior setter
Brooklyn Wirebaugh (Medina, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) tallied 17 assists and junior
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) added nine assists. Wirebaugh and sophomore libero
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) both served two aces.
Wojtala also led Grove City's defense with 14 digs. Junior
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) contributed 11 digs.
Junior
Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) chalked up a team-leading five blocks. Sophomore
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) had three blocks while Hart, Stonehouse and junior
Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton) all had two blocks.
The Wolverines will visit Allegheny at 7 p.m. Wednesday in conference action.
