GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team closed its non-conference schedule Saturday afternoon by dropping a 3-0 decision to visiting Penn State Behrend at Don Lyle Field. The Lions (4-1-2) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute, then sealed the win with two goals in an 11-minute span of the second half.

Maddie Mills (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) made a career-high 11 saves for Grove City. Her previous career best, 10 saves, came Wednesday night against No. 19 Carnegie Mellon.
Penn State Behrend outshot the Wolverines, 26-7, including a 14-5 edge in shots on goal. Behrend also had a 4-0 edge in corner kicks.Â
Rachel Sikeri scored at 18:51 to give Behrend the lead. In the second half, Rori Kostos doubled the lead by scoring at 54:23. Emily Samluk sewed up the win with a goal at 65:24.
Grove City (1-4-2) will visit Bethany in the Presidents' Athletic Conference opener Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
