HIRAM, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team opened its Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule Tuesday night by dropping a 21-25, 25-22, 25-15, 27-25 decision to Hiram in a North Division match at Price Gymnasium.
Junior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) pounded out a season-high 22 kills for Grove City (6-2, 0-1) while senior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) recorded 10 kills. Juniors
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) and
Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) each contributed nine kills.
Senior
Brooklyn Wirebaugh (Medina, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) tallied 17 assists and freshman
Eliana Porta (Hartland, Mich./Hartland) finished with 10 assists. Sophomore
Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) recorded nine assists and junior
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) set eight assists.Â

Sophomore
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) recorded a team-leading five blocks. Hart and Klusch both had two blocks. Dorst chalked up 25 digs, sophomore
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) recorded 19 digs and Hart collected 10 digs.Â
Grove City will host Hiram at 7 p.m. November 5 in the regular season home finale. The Wolverines will play Hiram, Allegheny, Geneva, Thiel and Westminster in a home-and-home series this year as North Division members. Grove City will play the six South Division teams once each.
The Wolverines host Thiel at 1 p.m. Saturday.
