KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Grove City College men's and women's soccer teams both recently earned United Soccer Coaches' College Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. 

The Wolverine men's soccer team compiled a cumulative grade-point average of 3.49 last year. Meanwhile, the Grove City women's soccer team earned a cumulative 3.59 GPA last year.

The College Team Academic Award is presented to programs that produce a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. A total of 151 colleges and universities, including Grove City, had their men's and women's teams both achieve the Team Academic Award.

Grove City's soccer teams will both report to campus in mid-August for preseason camp. The men's team opens its season August 29 by hosting Eastern Mennonite at 6 p.m. The women's squad opens its schedule that same day with a 4 p.m. match at Rochester Institute of Technology.
