Grove City men's soccer slate online

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Eight home games and 10 away matches comprise the Grove City College men's soccer team's 2025 schedule. 

Mike Dreves will begin his 20th season as head coach of the Wolverines with a season-opening home matchup against Eastern Mennonite on August 29. This will be the first meeting between the programs.

The Wolverines continue their out of conference schedule with four alternating road and home games. The team will take on Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh on September 3 at 7:30 p.m. The series between the Wolverines and Tartans dates to 1938. 

On September 5, the team returns home to face Oberlin under the Don Lyle Field lights at 6 p.m.  

Grove City goes back on the road to Erie to face Penn State Behrend on September 10 at 4 p.m. The team concludes the non-conference home schedule against Buffalo State on September 13 at 2 p.m.

Grove City wraps up the non-conference schedule with a trip to Michigan to face Hope on September 19 and Calvin on September 20. This is the first time in program history that the team will match up against the two Michigan foes. 

The Wolverines open Presidents' Athletic Conference play at Bethany on September 23. The match will start at 4 p.m. The first conference home game will be a Saturday afternoon showdown against Allegheny on September 27 at 3:30 p.m. It will be Grove City's 73rd all-time meeting with the Gators. 

The Wolverines will alternate road and home matches over the following week, starting with an October 1 match at Geneva. After hosting Thiel on October 4, Grove City visits new conference member Hiram on October 8.

Grove City visits longtime rival Westminster two days later in New Wilmington at 5 p.m. The Wolverines return home for a 2024 conference tournament final rematch against Franciscan on October 15 at 4:30 p.m. 

Grove City closes out the regular season with a road match at Chatham on October 18 at 3:30 p.m., followed by a two-game homestand against Saint Vincent on October 22 and Washington & Jefferson on October 25. Senior Day festivities will be held before the 3:30 p.m. start against the Presidents. 

The regular season finale will be at Waynesburg on October 29 at 8 p.m.
