GROVE CITY, Pa. -- For the second straight academic year, the Grove City College athletic department won the Presidents' Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy in both men's and women's competition. Grove City accumulated 118 points to win the Men's All-Sports Trophy and recorded a winning sum of 104.5 points to take the Women's All-Sports Trophy.

Washington & Jefferson finished second in the men's standings with 103 points while Allegheny placed second in the women's race with 99 points.

Grove City trailed W&J by seven points after the winter season in the men's competition but surged to the title with a conference-record 61 points in the spring season and finished with a 15-point margin of victory. Grove City won conference titles in baseball, lacrosse, and outdoor track and field this spring while also finishing runner-up in men's volleyball. 

Earlier this year, Grove City won conference titles in football, swimming and diving, and indoor track and field. The men's soccer team finished as conference runner-up.

On the women's side, Grove City teams earned a conference-high 39 points during the spring season to surge past Allegheny, which held a 1.5-point edge after the winter season. Grove City won conference crowns in lacrosse and outdoor track & field while adding a runner-up finish in softball. 

Grove City also won conference titles in women's soccer, swimming and diving, and indoor track and field during the 2024-25 academic year. 

The 11 conference titles are the most by any conference member this year. Grove City won 10 total conference titles last year.

The All-Sports Trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 11 points, runner-up finishes are worth 10 points and the scale incrementally descends until 11th place is worth one point.

This is the ninth time that Grove City has swept the All-Sports Trophy races. 

Grove City won the 2022-23 Men's All-Sports Trophy and finished second in the women's competition. Grove City won the women's All-Sports Trophy in 2021-22. In 2020-21, Grove City won the men's competition and earned runner-up in the women's All-Sports race.
