GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College has selected recent graduate
Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and current junior
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) as its respective Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year for the 2025-26 academic year.
Vice President for Athletics Todd Gibson announced the awards as part of Homecoming activities Saturday morning on campus. Paul Cameron, a two-time Sportsman of the Year (1972, 1973) and a charter member of the College's Athletic Hall of Fame, presented the awards to Einolf and White.
Einolf excelled for the Grove City men's swimming and diving program over the previous four seasons, concluding his career as a six-time NCAA Division III All-American. He earned All-America in the 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay in 2026. Einolf also won the Presidents' Athletic Conference title in the 100 breaststroke last February.
As a junior in 2024-25, Einolf earned All-America distinction in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke. He twice earned the conference's Most Valuable Performer award and graduated as the school record-holder in the 100 breaststroke. He also contributed to school records in the 200 and 400 medley relays.
A two-sport standout, White earned Presidents' Athletic Conference co-MVP honors at the conference's indoor track and field championships in February. She won indoor conference titles in the 60 and 200 meters, then won the league's outdoor title in the 100- and 200-meter dashes in May. White earned United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors in the Mid-Atlantic Region last season.
As a freshman, she won indoor conference titles in the 60 and 200, then won the outdoor title in 200 in 2025. White owns school records in the indoor 60, 200 and 400 relay, along with outdoor program marks in the 100, 200, 400 relay and 1600 relay.
In fall 2025, White helped the Grove City women's soccer team to the conference title and a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. She earned Honorable Mention All-Conference after scoring eight goals from her forward position in 2025.
Previously, the College and athletic department announced and recognized the Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year prior to the end of the spring semester. However, changes to the College's academic calendar, the addition of three spring sports programs in recent years and increased postseason award opportunities necessitated this shift.
This is the first time that the awards have been presented during Homecoming. Grove City first awarded its Sportsperson of the Year award in 1948. In 1982, the College split the award into Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.
