Grove City announces Hall of Fame class

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College athletic department announced Saturday morning that 22 individual and two teams will comprise the College's Athletic Hall of Fame class for 2026. Vice President of Athletics Todd Gibson announced this year's honorees as part of the College's Homecoming celebration.

The larger class size is a one-time event that helps commemorate Grove City College's 150th anniversary. The Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at various athletic events during the 2026-27 academic year as part of a year-long celebration of the College and its history.

The 2026-27 academic year represents the 20th anniversary of Grove City College establishing its Athletic Hall of Fame. The Athletic Hall of Fame honors men and women who have achieved excellence in the field of athletics or coaching at Grove City College or who have made a significant impact on its athletic program.

Athletes who are nominated for induction must have last attended the College at least 10 years prior to being considered for induction. Nominated athletes must also have earned at least two varsity letters at Grove City while competing in a sport recognized as having varsity status during their time of competition.

A nominated athlete must also be recognized as alumnus by the College. Coaches who are nominated must be retired from his or her sport of induction.

The Athletic Hall of Fame includes individuals who were associated with Grove City College athletics during or after 1956, which is the year that Grove City permanently joined the NCAA.
