MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team began its regular season-ending five-game road trip Saturday afternoon by capturing a 25-4 win at Allegheny in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Frank B. Fuhrer Field. Grove City (8-6, 5-0) bolted to a 9-1 lead in the first quarter, then extended the lead to 13-3 by halftime.

Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) recorded a goal and an assist in the first minute of the game while graduate student midfielder
Noah Goad (Hudson, Ohio/Western Reserve), junior attack
Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) and senior attack
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) also scored in the first three minutes Saturday.
All four men scored multiple goals Saturday, with Bui scoring a team-high four goals. Blythe, junior attack
Stewart McClain (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) and sophomore attack
Sawyer Strong (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) all scored three times. Goad, Greene and sophomore attack

Grove City outshot Allegheny, 45-36, including a 36-14 margin in shots on goal. Graduate student goalie
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) made five saves in the first half. Freshman
Kyle Gill (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) made five saves in the second half.
Junior
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) won 9 of 11 faceoffs while graduate student
Luke Rios (Centennial, Colo./Cherry Creek) won 8 of 10 faceoff opportunities. Both men collected six ground balls. Davidson added four ground balls.
Allegheny finished the game with 25 turnovers. Grove City finished with 21 turnovers.
Grove City will visit conference rival Franciscan at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Steubenville, Ohio
