JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team continued its Spring Break trip along the Atlantic coast Wednesday night with a 16-14 setback to Roanoke at Jacksonville University. 
Grove City trailed 5-0 early and faced a 10-5 deficit early in the third quarter. The Wolverines surged to within 10-9 by scoring four times in a three-minute span, including three goals from senior attack 
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima). However, the Maroons (5-1) prevented Grove City from completing its comeback. 
Blythe led Grove City with four goals while senior 
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) fired in three goals and added four assists in a seven-point night. Sophomore midfielder 
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and graduate student midfielder 
Noah Goad (Hudson, Ohio/Western Reserve) both scored twice. Both men also recorded assists. 
The Wolverines also received goals from senior midfielder 
Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton), junior midfielder 
Boden Davidson (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian) and sophomore attack 
Sawyer Strong (Westfield, Ind./Westfield). 
Graduate student faceoff specialist 
Luke Rios (Centennial, Colo./Cherry Creek) recorded an assist, as did senior midfielders 
Alec Jones (Chesterfield, N.J./Notre Dam) and 
Jason Muench (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park). Senior defender 
Tyler Curry (Huntington Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) also tallied an assist. 
Rios won 19 of 23 faceoffs and led Grove City with nine ground balls. Blythe, Jones and junior faceoff specialist 
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) all collected three ground balls. 
Grove City accumulated a 51-47 edge in total shots. Roanoke held a 33-27 advantage in shots on goal. Grove City had 18 turnovers while Roanoke committed eight turnovers. 
Graduate student goalie 
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) stopped a season-high 17 shots. 
The Wolverines will conclude their trip Saturday at 1 p.m. against Eastern at The Bolles School in Jacksonville.
