GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team scored nine straight goals during the second and third periods Saturday afternoon on the way to an 18-7 victory over visiting Westminster in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field. 
Grove City (6-6, 3-0) trailed 5-4 early in the second quarter before charging ahead for good. Junior attack 
Mac Faircloth (Greensboro, N.C./Page) tied the game with 6:11 left in the half after receiving an assist from senior attack 
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro).
Senior midfielder 
Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) gave Grove City the lead for good with an unassisted goal at the 3:27 mark. Bui pushed the lead to 7-5 with 58 seconds left in the half with a man-up goal. Junior attack 
Stewart McClain (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) assisted Bui's score. 
Grove City broke open the game with six goals in the third quarter. Hougan scored a pair of unassisted goals while Faircloth and Bui also scored unassisted. Sophomore midfielder 
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) added an unassisted goal in the quarter and Hougan assisted a goal by senior attack

Ethan Binns (Saint Johns, Fla./The Bolles School) all had an assist. 
Grove City accumulated a 57-29 edge in total shots, including a 34-22 margin in shots on goal. Grove City finished with 15 turnovers while Westminster had 13.
Hougan and junior midfielder 
Boden Davidson (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian) each picked up a team-leading five ground balls. Blythe and junior 
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) both had four ground balls. 
Lehberg won all eight of his faceoff chances. Graduate student 
Luke Rios (Centennial, Colo./Cherry Creek) won 12 of 15 faceoffs.

Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) stopped 15 shots to secure the win.
The Wolverines will host Chatham at 7 p.m. Wednesday in conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field.
