Einolf earns All-America in 100 fly

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Grove City College junior swimmer Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) earned NCAA Division III All-America honors Thursday night in the 100 butterfly at the NCAA Championships. 

Einolf took 13th place overall after finishing fifth in the consolation final at Greensboro Aquatic Central. Einolf posted a time of 48.21 seconds in Thursday night's race after a recording a time of 47.84 seconds in the preliminaries Thursday morning. 

He is the 60th All-American in program history. 

Einolf will also compete in the 100 breaststroke and 100 free at this year's championships. He is seeded sixth in Friday's 100 breaststroke with a season-best time of 53.77 seconds. Saturday, Einolf will be the 20th seed in the 100 freestyle as he owns a seed time of 44.50 seconds. 

Chicago's Cooper Costello won the 100 butterfly Thursday night with a time of 45.97 seconds.
