GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team extended its win streak to four games Saturday night by rolling to a 23-1 home win over Washington & Jefferson in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field.
Ten men scored Saturday night for the Wolverines (5-5, 2-0), highlighted by a 10-point outing from sophomore attack
Davis Schneider (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton Academy). Schneider recorded six goals and added four assists to help lead the Grove City attack.
Freshman attack
Cole Pedroso (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin) pumped in five goals and assisted on two other scores. Sophomore attack
Sawyer Strong (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) and freshman midfielder
Nolan Brown (Chester Springs, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) each scored three times. Strong also chalked up a career-high five assists, giving him an eight-point evening.

Alec Jones (Chesterfield, N.J./Notre Dame) and
Jason Muench (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) both scored, as did junior attack
Mac Faircloth (Greensboro, N.C./Page), sophomore midfielder

Ian Martti (Greensboro, N.C./Page) and freshman midfielder

Martti finished with a career-high three assists. Brown, sophomore midfielder

Trey Zabroski (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) all assisted two goals. Junior midfielder

Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) and junior faceoff specialist
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) also tallied assists.
Freshman faceoff specialist
Evan Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) won 15 of 21 faceoffs and also led Grove City with nine ground balls. Martti had seven ground balls while Schneider secured six ground balls.
Davidson, Ledyard, Martti, Muench, Strong and sophomore
Joshua McDermott (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Santa Margarita) all caused two turnovers. W&J (2-4, 0-1) finished with 27 turnovers. Grove City had two dozen turnovers.
The Wolverines outshot W&J, 40-17, including a 34-9 edge in shots on goal. Sophomore goalie
Kyle Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) made four saves in the first half to earn the win. Freshman
Sam Ryan (Lutherville Timonium, Md./Calvert Hall) made four saves while blanking W&J in the second half.
Grove City will travel to York (Pa.) next Saturday in non-conference play.
