GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team improved to 3-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference by sweeping visiting Geneva, 26-24, 30-28 and 25-21 Saturday afternoon in the Grove City College Arena.
Freshman
Keith Otto (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) paced Grove City (8-8) with a dozen kills while sophomore
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) recorded nine kills. Junior
Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Pa./Homeschooled) contributed eight kills.
Sophomore setter
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) recorded 32 assists.
Defensively, sophomore
Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) posted seven total blocks. Malcolm totaled four blocks while senior
Quintin Norris (Savannah, N.Y./North Rose-Wolcott) tallied three blocks.
Fair led Grove City with 12 digs while Gianneski and freshman
Ben McVey (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) each added 10 digs.
Grove City will host conference rival Hiram at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
