GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's indoor track and field team sent representatives to three meets Friday and Saturday as the team continues its preparation for the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships. The Wolverines had athletes compete at the Youngstown State Last Chance meet, the Nazareth Division III Elite meet and the S.P.I.R.E. Collegiate Games in Geneva, Ohio.
Junior
Alex Mitchell (Hummelstown, Pa./Harrisburg Christian) helped pace Grove City at Nazareth by winning the 400 meters in a time of 49.23 seconds. He also took fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.47 seconds.

Isaac Busler (Butler, Pa./Butler), junior
Isaac Young (Jordan, Minn./Jordan) and freshman
Jeremiah Knowles (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) earned fourth in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 3:24.40. That time is tops this year in the conference and ties the school record.
Young finished eighth in the 800 (1:58.64) while Knowles took ninth in the 400 (50.86).
Senior
Ryan Lenhart (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) and junior
Michael Chambers (Bridgeville, Pa./Canon-McMillan) led Grove City in the field events at the Collegiate Games. Lenhart took eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 47 feet, 5 1/4 inches. Chambers clearned 13-3 1/2 in the pole vault, good for eighth place.
Freshman
William Britton (Westfield, Ind.) finished ninth in the pole vault by clearing 12-9 1/2 while junior
Tucker Owens (Gainesville, N.Y./Letchworth) earned 10th in the pole vault (12-3 1/2). Freshman
Brandon Kendrew (Harmony, Pa./Seneca Valley) placed 13th in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.08 seconds while senior
Jonah DeWitt (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) finished 14th in the 5000 (15:46.51).
Senior
Nick Petucci (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) paced Grove City at Youngstown State by finishing sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 41-11 1/2. He also placed eighth in the long jump, marking at 20-1. Freshman
Gabriel Bibawy (Sunbury, Ohio/Big Walnut) took 11th in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:34.76.
Junior
Christopher Kline (Randolph, Ohio/Lake Center Christian) finished 15th in the 3000 (9:56.80) while senior
Andrew Coffee (Salem, Ohio/West Branch) took 15th in the 60 hurdles (9.58).
Grove City will compete in the Mount Union Tune-Up in Alliance, Ohio, next Friday.
