DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team dropped an 18-12 decision Saturday afternoon to host Ohio Wesleyan in non-conference action at Selby Stadium. Grove City jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first nine minutes but the Battling Bishops rebounded to take an 8-6 lead by halftime. 
Graduate student midfielder 
Luke Jayne (Vero Beach, Fla./Saint Edward's) fired in a team-leading four goals for Grove City (1-2) while senior attack 
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) scored three times. Senior midfielders 
Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and 
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) both scored twice while freshman midfielder 
Tyler Blazek (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) also scored.

Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) and sophomore midfielder 
Evan Curry (Huntington Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) all notched assists.
Ohio Wesleyan held a 45-42 edge in total shots, including a 31-19 edge in shots on goal. Graduate student goalie 
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) stopped 13 shots for Grove City.
Graduate student 
Luke Rios (Centennial, Colo./Cherry Creek) won 14 of 21 faceoffs. He led Grove City with seven ground balls. Stone added three ground balls. 
Junior defender 
Sam Stevenson (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) caused three turnovers. Grove City finished with 16 turnovers while Ohio Wesleyan had 18 turnovers. 
Grove City returns to action next Saturday at noon when the Wolverines host Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) at Robert E. Thorn Field.
