GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team opened its home and Presidents' Athletic Conference schedules Friday night by securing a 182-80 victory over Saint Vincent at James E. Longnecker Pool.
Junior
Andrew Buxbaum (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), junior
C.J. Mayhew (Gaithersburg, Md./Homeschooled) and senior
Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) all won two individual events to help pace the Wolverines (3-2, 1-0).Â
Buxbaum won the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2 minutes, 14.02 seconds and then won the 200 individual medley in 2:00.79. Mayhew swept the distance events, winning the 500 (4:59.79) and the 1000 (10:21.29). Einolf took the 50 free in a time of 20.93 seconds, then won the 100 free in 46.71 seconds.
Junior
Bryce Pope (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Valley Classical) won the 100 breaststroke (59.10) while junior
Owen Hancock (Brunswick, Ohio/Westside Christian) won the 200 backstroke in 2:02.97. Freshman
Patrick Cratty (Latrobe, Pa./Latrobe) won the 200 free with a time of 1:48.99.Â

Nathan Beukema (Kensington, Md./Homeschooled) opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:32.70. Beukema, Mayhew, Einolf and sophomore
Ryan Turner (Fombell, Pa./Riverside) closed out the team win by posting a winning time of 1:27.12 in the 200 free relay.
Grove City will host Wooster at 1 p.m. next Saturday, November 15, in a non-conference dual meet.
