GAMBIER, Ohio -- Senior guard Reese Hasley (Cheswick, Pa./Deer Lakes) fired in 18 second-half points while junior guard Alexa McDole (Evans City, Pa./Mars) and senior center Meredith Sherrerd (New Braunfels, Texas/New Braunfels) also scored in double figures Tuesday night to help the Grove City College women's basketball team rally for a 69-66 non-conference road win over Kenyon (3-3) at Tomsich Arena.

McDole pumped in 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting while Sherrerd added a dozen points while going 5 for 8 from the field.

Consecutive McDole field goals helped spark the comeback while Hasley's three-pointer with 28 seconds left in the quarter trimmed the lead to 52-49. Freshman guard Kate Kline (Nottingham, Pa./Oxford) closed the quarter with a jumper.

Grove City held the Owls without a field goal during the run.

Kenyon reclaimed the lead, 66-65, when Antonia Marzini hit a three-pointer with 1:18 left. However, Hudson gave Grove City the lead for good with two free throws after an offensive rebound by senior center Emma Ulmer (Northumberland, Pa./Northumberland Christian).

Hasley sank two more free throws with 10 seconds left to give the Wolverines a 69-66 lead.

Grove City bolted to a 15-4 lead in the first quarter and led 15-8 after 10 minutes. Kenyon outscored the Wolverines in the second quarter, 26-10, however, as Grove CIty went 3 for 13 (23 percent) from the floor in the period.
