GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team broke four pool records Saturday on the way to a 141-121 non-conference win at University of Rochester.

Bryce Pope (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Valley Christian), senior
Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and senior
Nathan Beukema (Kensington, Md./Homeschooled) opened the meet with a winning time of 1 minute, 32.71 seconds. That time set a facility record, as did Hancock's 50 backstroke split of 23.33 seconds leading off the event.
Einolf won the 100 butterfly in 49.54 seconds, breaking a 40-year old pool record. He also won the 100 breaststroke with a pool-record time of 55.89 seconds.
Pope also picked up two wins, taking the 200 breaststroke in 2:12.95 and the 200 individual medley in a time of 2:00.14.
Freshman
George Witte (Columbia, S.C./Covenant Classical Christian) prevailed in the 200 free (1:46.01) while Beukema won the 100 free in 48.36 seconds. Beukema then led off Grove City's victorious 200 free relay (1:25.84), which also featured Einolf, Witte and sophomore
Ryan Turner (Fombell, Pa./Riverside).
Grove City (4-3) will compete in the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational December 4-6.
