BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's basketball team concluded a 1-1 weekend at the Geneva College Coaches vs. Cancer Classic as the Wolverines dropped an 85-69 decision Saturday afternoon to Lancaster Bible in Metheny Field House.
Senior guard
Mike Christenson (Oakton, Va./Trinity) fired in a game-high 26 points for the Wolverines, who also shot 48 percent (24 of 50) from the field. However, Grove City turned over the ball 21 times, which led to 29 Chargers points.

Kyle Randle (Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) added nine points while junior center
Owen Wolf (South Lyon, Mich./Firebirds H.E.A.) tossed in eight points.
Christenson hit two free throws with 4:36 left to cut Lancaster Bible's lead to 67-64. But the Chargers closed the game on an 18-5 run.

Colton Martin (Centerburg, Ohio/Centerburg) and junior forward
Caleb Haller (Delaware, Ohio/Marion Hawks) all had five rebounds. Grove City held a 36-34 edge in rebounds.
Lancaster Bible shot 29 of 63 (46 percent) from the field. The Chargers finished with 14 turnovers. Martin had three steals for Grove City.
The Wolverines will visit Pitt-Bradford in non-conference play Wednesday night.Â
