STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- The five-match winning streak of the Grove City College women's volleyball team ended Saturday afternoon as host Franciscan pulled out a five-set victory over the Wolverines at Finnegan Field House. Each of Franciscan's set wins came by two points as the Barons (11-11, 7-7) pulled out a 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-13 win over Grove City (16-7, 8-6) in Presidents' Athletic Conference interdivisional play.

Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) led Grove City with a season-high 24 kills while junior
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) recorded 13 kills. Grove City also received a dozen kills from junior
Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton).
Junior setter
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) recorded 29 assists and sophomore
Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) chalked up 22 assists.Â

Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) posted a team-leading 10 blocks while senior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) contributed five blocks. Sophomore
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) had four blocks and Lagaras finished with three blocks.Â
Dorst paced the Wolverines with 25 digs while sophomore
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) recorded 24 digs. Senior
Bella Costa (Newbury, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) finished with 13 digs and Manfull had a dozen digs.Â
Grove City will conclude its regular season home schedule Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when the Wolverines host North Division leader Hiram in the Grove City College Arena.
