GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored two Grove City College swimmers Tuesday afternoon as the conference's Swimmers of the Week. On the men's side, junior C.J. Mayhew (Gaithersburg, Md./Homeschooled) earned Swimmer of the Week after his three-win effort last Saturday at NCAA Division II Ashland. Sophomore Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) repeated as the conference's Swimmer of the Week in women's competition after sweeping the breaststroke at Ashland.

Mayhew posted a winning time of 5 minutes, 3.51 seconds in the 500 and then recorded a winning time of 10:24.20 performance in the 1000. Mayhew also prevailed in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:24.39.

Mayhew owns the conference's top time so far this season in all three of those events. 

McNay won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.85 at Ashland. She then recorded a winning time of 2:33.42 in the 200 breaststroke. Her 100 time is a season-best by .01 seconds and fastest in the conference this year. McNay also owns the top time in the conference this year in the 200 breaststroke (2:32.38).

Grove City will host Saint Vincent at 6 p.m. Friday, November 7 in the home and conference opener at James E. Longnecker Pool.
