ASHLAND, Ohio -- Senior 
Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and junior 
C.J. Mayhew (Gaithersburg, Md./Homeschooled) both secured three individual victories Saturday for the Grove City College men's swimming and diving team but Division II Ashland edged the visiting Wolverines, 154-137, in a non-conference dual meet at Messerly Natatorium.

Owen Hancock (Brunswick, Ohio/Westside Christian) and 
Bryce Pope (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Valley Classical) added wins for the Wolverines (2-2).

Nathan Beukema (Kensington, Md./Homeschooled) opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay with a time of 1 minute, 33.94 seconds. 
Einolf won the 50 free in a time of 21.28 seconds and then took the 100 free with a time of 47.05 seconds. He then picked up his third individual win by touching first in the 100 butterfly (51.41). 
Mayhew won both distance events. He recorded a winning time of 5:03.51 in the 500 and then recorded a 10:24.20 performance to take the 1000. Mayhew also prevailed in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:24.39.
Hancock won the 100 backstroke in a time of 52.92, which ranks ninth in program history. Pope won the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:17.12.
The Wolverines will host Saint Vincent at 6 p.m. Friday, November 7. That will be Grove City's Presidents' Athletic Conference and home opener.Â
