GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team features plenty of experience and depth as the Wolverines prepare for the 2025-26 season.
Head coach
Dave Fritz welcomes back 2025 NCAA Division III All-American
Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown), along with 11 additional All-Presidents' Athletic Conference performers for this winter's campaign.
Einolf will help lead a seven-man senior class this season after he earned All-America honors in both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke last season. He is also the defending conference champion in the 100 breaststroke and a returning First Team All-PAC honoree.
Einolf owns the school record in the 100 breast (53.77) and 100 fly (48.21)
Three classmates also return after joining Einolf on the conference's First Team in 2025.
Nathan Beukema (Kensington, Md./Homeschooled) will help lead Grove City in the sprint events while fellow senior
Logan Myers (Middleburg, Fla./Homeschooled) returns in the butterfly and distance events.
Beukema is the returning conference runner-up in the 200 free while Myers is defending runner-up in the 200 fly.
Senior distance ace
Sam Thayer (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Jackson) also returns after finishing as conference runner-up in the 500 free in 2025.
Senior
Emmett Wilson (Laconia, N.H./Homeschooled) joins Einolf in leading Grove City's breaststroke efforts after achieving Second Team All-PAC honors in each of the last two seasons. He also has extensive experience in the distance events.
Senior
Calvin Doolittle (Clarington, Pa./Brookville) returns in the sprints and butterfly events for the Wolverines. He earned Second Team All-PAC as a sophomore in 2023-24 and will likely again be a key contributor in those events.
Senior
Caden Ondrejko (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic, W.Va.) also returns in the butterfly. He is a three-year letterman who will contend for a spot in the scoring lineup this year.
Grove City will also rely upon a decorated seven-man junior class this winter. All seven men earned postseason honors from the conference following the 2024-25 season.
Juniors
Owen Hancock (Brunswick, Ohio/Westside Christian),
Bryce Pope (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Valley Christian) and
C.J. Mayhew (Gaithersburg, Md./Homeschooled) all captured First Team All-Conference as sophomores.
The versatile Hancock is the defending champion in both butterfly events. He holds the program record in the 200 butterfly (1:51.89) and ranks second to Einolf all-time in the 100 fly at the College. Hancock could be deployed in a variety of events this season, according to Fritz.
Pope returns in the breaststroke and individual medley after placing second at the conference championships in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM last winter.
Mayhew, meanwhile, will again be an integral part of Grove City's distance efforts. He is the defending conference champion in the 400 IM and finished as runner-up in the 1650 at last year's league meet.
Juniors
Andrew Buxbaum (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan),
Charlie Cratty (Latrobe, Pa./Latrobe) and
Josh Remlinger (Granville, Ohio/Granville) all return after being recognized as Second Team All-PAC performers last season.
A two-time All-Conference honoree, Buxbaum will likely compete again in the breaststroke and individual medley this season. He placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke at the conference meet in each of his first two years.
Cratty has also earned All-PAC distinction in each of his first two years at the College. Cratty will bolster the lineup in both the backstroke and butterfly events.
Remlinger earned third in the 200 butterfly at the 2025 conference championships. He will look to further solidify the lineup in the butterfly events, as well as in middle distance and individual medley.
Junior
William Rankine (Warner Robins, Ga./Houston County) posted the No. 8 time in both breaststroke events at the 2025 conference championships. A member of the conference's Sportsmanship Team in 2025, Rankine will again be counted on in the breaststroke, as well as sprints.
A trio of sophomores also returns in 2025-26 for the Wolverines. Sprinter
Ryan Turner (Fombell, Pa./Riverside) returns after winning the conference title in the 200 free last season. He earned First Team All-Conference recognition and is again expected to be one of Grove City's top entries in the sprints.
Second-year sprinter
Aidan McCarthy (Knoxville, Tenn./Christian Academy of Knoxville) aims to move up the lineup this year after a promising rookie season. Fellow sophomore
Peyton Randall (Cranberry Township, Pa./Mars) will compete for a spot in the lineup in the breaststroke.
Several newcomers are also expected to compete for spots in the lineup this winter.
Grove City opens the season Saturday, October 18 at the Geneseo State Fall Classic in Webster, N.Y. The home and conference schedules begin Friday, November 7 against Saint Vincent.
Grove City will host the conference championships February 18-21, 2026 in James E. Longnecker Pool.
