GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team dropped a 25-13, 25-23, 18-25, 12-25, 15-12 decision Wednesday night to visiting Geneva in Presidents' Athletic Conference North Division action at the Grove City College Arena.
Junior
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) paced the Wolverines (9-4, 2-3) by recording a career-high 20 kills. Junior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) contributed 13 kills and senior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) tallied 10 kills. Junior
Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) added eight kills and sophomore
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) posted seven kills on 11 attacks.
Junior setter
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) chalked up 27 assists while sophomore
Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) recorded 15 assists. Both setters also served two aces.
Pool led the Wolverines with three blocks. Sophomore libero
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) collected 20 digs while Dorst had 15 digs. Sophomore
Bailey Elliott (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood Academy) tallied nine digs.
The Wolverines will host Bethany at 1 p.m. Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference inter-division play. Saturday's match will be the lone regular season meeting between Grove City and South Division member Bethany.
