MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision Wednesday afternoon at Allegheny in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Robertson Tennis Center.
Two of Allegheny's four singles wins came in three sets. Allegheny (6-0, 6-0) also claimed the doubles point by taking two of the three doubles bouts. Freshman
Blaire Beatty (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Bloomfield Christian) teamed with sophomore
Iris Kiehl (Warren, Pa./Warren) for a 6-1 win at third doubles and then captured a 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 6 singles.

Emma Flanigan (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Christian) picked up a 6-3, 7-5 triumph at fifth singles.
Grove City (6-2, 5-1) will host conference foe Washington & Jefferson at 1 p.m. Saturday.
