OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team completed a 2-1 weekend at Oberlin College by sweeping Alma in non-conference play Saturday afternoon at Phillips Gymnasium. Grove City secured a 25-17, 25-13, 25-12 victory over the Scots, improving to 4-3 on the season.
Sophomore
Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton) recorded a match-high 14 kills on 27 attacks to help lead the offense while classmate
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) added nine kills. The Wolverines also received seven kills each from sophomore
Alexis Standford (Walkersville, Md./New Life Christian) and freshman
Hope Donnelly (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge).
Sophomore setter
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) recorded a career-high 20 assists while senior
Kennedy Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) added 17 assists.
Dorst served a career-high six aces while Harris set a personal standard with four aces. Sophomore libero
Julia Fisher (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) added a pair of aces. Grove City's 13 aces are the most for the team in one match since September 16, 2023, when the Wolverines had 15 aces against Rochester Institute of Technology.

Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) both recorded four blocks. Standford contributed three blocks. Fisher led Grove City with 15 digs and Dorst contributed 10 digs.
Grove City will visit Mount Union at 4 p.m. Friday in non-conference action. The Wolverines will then play Pitt-Bradford at 8 p.m. Friday night.
