WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team concluded its season-opening weekend trip to the Mid-Atlantic region by earning a 0-0 draw at Catholic in non-conference action at Carlini Field.

Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars) preserved the shutout by making six saves. She made three saves in each half.
Catholic (1-0-1) outshot Grove City in the first half, 8-1, and held a 17-7 edge in total shots. Catholic also had a 6-2 advantage in shots on goal, along with a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
The match featured a delay of approximately 75 minutes in the first half due to lightning. Saturday's game marked the first-ever meeting between the programs.
Grove City opens its home schedule next Saturday at 1 p.m. when the Wolverines host Wooster in non-conference play at Don Lyle Field.
