Lucy Martin (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) fired in five goals Saturday afternoon while freshman attack
Gwen Shilling (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) pumped in four goals to help lift the Grove City College women's lacrosse team to an 18-10 home win over Franciscan in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Don Lyle Field.

Madison Nazigian (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) and junior defender
Amber Wartman (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) both added three goals for Grove City, which earned its fourth straight overall win.
Grove City (8-4, 3-0 PAC) broke open the game by scoring the final six goals of the second quarter as the Wolverines extended their lead to 10-3. Nazigian's unassisted goal with 8:54 left in the half sparked the outburst. Shilling pushed the lead to 6-3 after receiving an assist from junior defender
Emily Arnold (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) at the 7:21 mark.
Martin, Nazigian and Shilling all scored in the final 4:24 to close out the run. Sophomore attack
Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) assisted on each of the Wolverines' final three goals of the half.
Freshman midfielder
Tori Stevenson (Butler, Pa./Butler) added two goals for Grove City while junior midfielder
Anna Korzeniewski (Boyds, Md./Clarksburg) also scored Saturday.
Rowell finished with a team-leading four assists. Nazigian, Shilling, Stevenson, Wartman and junior midfielder
Abby Roetering (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) all had one assist.Â
Junior defender
Sarah Jackson (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) caused a season-high seven turnovers to help lead the Wolverine defense. Arnold and Stevenson both caused two turnovers. Franciscan finished the game with 22 turnovers while Grove City had 15 turnovers.
Arnold collected a team-high seven ground balls while Jackson had six ground balls. Shilling picked up five ground balls. Wartman led the Wolverines with six draw controls.
Grove City out-shot Franciscan, 34-30. Junior goalie
Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) stopped nine shots in 47:33 of action. She earned her eighth win of the season. Sophomore
Mia Gallagher (Mogadore, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) made two saves over the final 12:27 of the game.
Grove City will host Waynesburg University at 6 p.m. Tuesday in conference action at Don Lyle Field.Â
