GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Sixteen men scored goals Saturday afternoon to help the Grove City College men's lacrosse team capture a 28-2 home win over Franciscan in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field. Grove City (9-4, 4-0 PAC) led 11-0 after one quarter and pushed the lead to 15-0 by halftime.
Freshman attack
Patrick Law (Jupiter, Fla./The King's Academy) fired in a career-high six goals and added two assists to record the first eight-point performance of 2024 for the Wolverines. Fellow freshman
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) added three goals an assist in the win.

Evans caused a career-best four turnovers to help lead Grove City's defensive efforts. Muench and sophomore long stick midfielder
Ryan Ledermann (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) both caused two turnovers. Overall, Grove City recorded 21 caused turnovers. Franciscan finished the game with 26 turnovers while the Wolverines had 19 turnovers.
Lehberg won 13 of 15 faceoffs. Zabroski won 6 of 7 faceoffs and led the Wolverines with 10 ground balls. Lehberg scooped up six ground balls while Muench had five ground balls.Â
Grove City outshot the Barons (7-5, 0-3) by an 82-21 margin. The Wolverines also held a 48-9 edge in shots on goal.Â
Senior
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) earned the win in goal by stopping four shots in the first half. Freshman
Kyle Gill (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) made three saves in the second half.Â
Saturday's win closes Grove City's three-game homestand. The Wolverines have won 10 straight home games, dating back to last season.Â
The Wolverines will visit conference foe Chatham next Saturday at 4 p.m.
