PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team earned its seventh consecutive victory Saturday afternoon by earning a 21-7 road win over Chatham in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Graham Field.
Grove City outscored the Cougars 15-1 over the final 41 minutes of the game after Chatham forged a 6-6 tie in the second quarter.
Graduate student attack
James Petrolle (Damascus, Md./Damascus) and junior attack
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) both fired in four goals to help pace Grove City (10-4, 5-0 PAC). Both men also had two assists.
Junior midfielder
Luke Jayne (Vero Beach, Fla./Saint Edward's) contributed three goals and two assists while sophomore attack
Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) also scored three times. Junior midfielder
Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) chipped in two goals and two assists.

Hougan led Grove City with five assists, giving him a team-leading 21 assists. Agawa and junior midfielder
Trey Zabroski (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) each chalked up two assists while Jones also had an assist.
Grove City took command of Saturday's game by scoring five times in an eight-minute span of the second quarter. Hougan scored with 9:21 left in the half to break a 6-6 deadlock. Jones, Bui, Greene and Petrolle followed with goals to give Grove City an 11-6 halftime lead.
Jayne scored a pair of man-up goals in the third quarter to help Grove City push its lead to 16-7 after three periods. Greene scored twice in the final quarter to help cement the victory.

Benjamin Griffin (Asheboro, N.C./Greensboro Day) helped lead Grove City's defensive effort by causing three turnovers. Junior long stick midfielder

Chatham finished the game with 29 turnovers while Grove City had 21 turnovers.
Sophomore faceoff specialist
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) won 15 of 24 faceoffs. He also led the Wolverines with nine ground balls. Freshman midfielder
Logan Fox (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Christian) collected five ground balls.
Senior goalie
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) earned the win by stopping eight shots in 53:26 of action. Sophomore
Tyler Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) played the final 6:34 in goal and did not face a shot on goal. Grove City out-shot Chatham (7-6, 2-2 PAC) by a 48-26 margin.
Grove City will close its home schedule next Saturday at 3 p.m. against Allegheny in conference play at Robert E. Thorn Field.
