Alec Jones (Chesterfield, N.J./Notre Dame) scored a career-high four goals Wednesday night while junior attack
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) also scored four times to help lead the Grove City College men's lacrosse team to a 20-7 win at Westminster in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at UPMC Field.
Grove City (12-4, 7-0 PAC) clinched the top seed in next week's four-team conference tournament with Wednesday's win. The Wolverines will host a tournament semifinal next Wednesday night and will have home-field advantage in the tournament.

Davis Schneider (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton Academy) also scored for Grove City, which won its ninth straight game.
Nine straight goals allowed the Wolverines to take a 10-1 lead 16 minutes into the game. Blythe scored three times in the early outburst while Petrolle scored twice. Jones and Law both scored twice in the second period to help the Wolverines take a 14-2 lead by halftime.
Grove City held a 49-36 advantage in total shots. The Wolverines also had a season-low 11 turnovers. Westminster turned over possession 20 times. Schneider, senior goalie
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) and sophomore defender
Andrew Glasgow (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) all caused two turnovers.
Stone earned the win by stopping six shots in the first half. Sophomore
Tyler Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) made six saves over the final two periods.

Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) won 17 of 24 faceoffs. He also collected a game-high 12 ground balls.
The Wolverines will close the regular season Saturday with a 12 p.m. conference tilt at Washington & Jefferson.
