GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team earned its fourth consecutive victory Saturday afternoon by pulling out an 11-9 home win over No. 17 York (Pa.) in non-conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field.
Grove City broke a 6-6 tie in the third quarter by scoring the final two goals of the period and then adding the first two goals of the fourth period. Junior midfielder
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) scored consecutive unassisted goals to give Grove City (7-4) an 8-6 lead.

James Petrolle (Damascus, Md./Damascus) scored 28 seconds into the fourth quarter, pushing the lead to 9-6. Junior midfielder
Trey Zabroski (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) assisted Petrolle's goal.
Zabroski followed with an unassisted goal with 9:39 remaining in the game. Petrolle sealed the win with 31 seconds left when he scored a man-down goal after receiving an outlet from senior goalie

Petrolle led Grove City with four goals. The Wolverines also received goals from junior attack

York held a 51-41 edge in total shots and a 25-24 advantage in shots on goal. Stone stopped 16 shots to secure his sixth win of the season.
Grove City finished the game with 20 turnovers while the Spartans had 16 turnovers.
Saturday's win closes Grove City's non-conference schedule for the regular season. The Wolverines return to Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday, April 3. That night, Grove City will host Saint Vincent at 6 p.m. at Thorn Field.
