Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Grove City College women's lacrosse team evened its overall record at 1-1 by earning an 18-6 victory Monday evening at NAIA member Warner (Fla.) in non-conference action at Tye Athletic Field. Grove City trailed 3-2 after one quarter but surged ahead by scoring 12 consecutive goals during the second and third periods.
Senior midfielder
Lucy Martin (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) tied the game by scoring 1:28 into the second quarter. Grove City then broke open the game by scoring five times in the final seven minutes of the half.

Blythe then scored three times in the first six minutes of the second half as Grove City extended its lead to 14-3. Martin scored twice during the third quarter run while Nazigian added her fourth and final goal of the game.
Blythe led Grove City with five goals while Martin joined Nazigian in scoring four goals. Arnold scored twice while junior attack
Meah Groves (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) and freshman attack
Gwen Shilling (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) also scored.
Nazigian also assisted three goals. Blythe and Martin had two assists each while Arnold, Stevenson and sophomore attack
Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) also tallied assists.
Junior defender
Amber Wartman (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) caused six turnovers to help lead the Grove City defense. Nazigian, junior goalie
Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) and junior defender
Sarah Jackson (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) all caused four turnovers.
Overall, Grove City recorded 24 caused turnovers and harassed the Royals (4-1) into 27 total turnovers. Grove City finished with 19 turnovers.
Wartman also picked up a game-high eight ground balls. Arnold and Jackson both had three ground balls. Nazigian and Stevenson each secured eight draw controls.
Grove City held a 40-12 edge in total shots. Kiggins made four saves to earn the win.
The Wolverines will face Gordon in non-conference action Saturday in Clearwater, Fla.
