ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Defending national semifinalist Rochester Institute of Technology earned a 22-7 home victory Friday afternoon over the Grove City College men's lacrosse team in non-conference aciton at Tiger Stadium. R.I.T., ranked fourth in NCAA Division III, led 7-1 after one quarter.

Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) paced Grove City (3-2) with three goals while junior attack
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) scored a pair of goals. Junior attack
Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and freshman midfielder
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) also scored Friday.

R.I.T. outshot the Wolverines, 55-42, and held a 37-22 advantage in shots on goal. Grove City had 22 turnovers while the Tigers had 20 turnovers.

Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) led Grove City with eight ground balls. Blythe and junior midfielder
Trey Zabroski (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) both picked up five ground balls.Â

Tyler Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) stopped five shots in the second half.Â
Friday's game started a three-game road swing for the Wolverines. Grove City will visit Roanoke at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Salem, Va.Â
