BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's cross country team continued its preparation for next month's Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships by competing in the White 6K Saturday at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run. The Wolverines finished 16th in the 46-team field by accumulating 515 team points. Amherst won the team title with 135 points while Emory took second with 152 points.

Lydia Bennett (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) recorded Grove City's top finish Saturday as she earned 30th place. Bennett completed the six-kilometer course in a time of 22 minutes, 9.1 seconds.

Grace Smith (Dover, Ohio/Dover) finished 94th overall with a time of 22:50.9 while sophomore
Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) secured 102nd place by posting a time of 22:56.2

Ella Lyle (Hurricane, W.Va./Ignite) took 136th place (23:18.0). Freshman
Carli Freeman (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) finished 166th in a time of 23:35.8. Senior
Julia Bauer (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) placed 213th with a time of 24:05.5. Freshman
Julianna Lindberg (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) rounded out the lineup with a time of 25:02.9. Lindberg finished 298th.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute sophomore Jules Bleskoski won the event with a time of 20:42.5. The race featured 407 competitors.
The Wolverines return to action Friday by hosting their annual Homecoming 5K at Robert E. Thorn Field. The race begins at 7 p.m.
