BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team remained undefeated on the road in Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday night by rolling to a 26-24, 25-16, 25-16 victory over Geneva in conference action at Metheny Field House. It is Grove City's third straight win overall, with all three wins coming on the road against league opponents.
Sophomore
Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton) paced Grove City (12-8, 3-1 PAC) with 11 kills while classmate
Alexis Standford (Walkersville, Md./New Life Christian) posted 10 kills. Lagaras also led Grove City with three aces while senior setter
Kennedy Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) and sophomore setter
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) both served two aces.
Harris recorded 14 assists and Kerr contributed 13 assists.
Sophomore
Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) posted a team-leading three blocks. Standford, freshman
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) and junior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) all had two blocks apiece.
Sophomore libero
Julia Fisher (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) chalked up 15 digs. Lagaras had nine digs and junior
Bella Costa (Newbury, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) added eight digs.
Grove City returns home Saturday to host Thiel at 1 p.m. in conference action.
