NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team earned its first shutout victory of 2023 with a 2-0 triumph Wednesday evening at Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster. Grove City (3-2-4, 3-0 PAC) has now won three straight matches and 14 consecutive regular season conference matches.

Jordan Rebsamen (Charlotte, N.C./Carmel Christian) scored his first goal of the season. It is Rebsamen's second career game-winning goal.
The Wolverines doubled the lead 23 minutes into the second half when senior forward
Hunter Hardin (North Ridgeville, Ohio/Freeport) blasted in his first goal of 2023. Junior midfielder
John-Luc Harbour (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) assisted Hardin's goal, the 14th of his career.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Teddy Almeter (Monroeville, Pa./Serra) stopped five shots to secure the shutout win. Almeter and the Wolverines now have three shutouts this season.
Grove City outshot Westminster, 15-11. Grove City had six shots on goal while Westminster (3-4-3, 0-3 PAC) had five. Each team recorded five corner kicks.
Grove City steps out of conference play Friday afternoon to host Point Park at Don Lyle Field. The match will start at 4:30 p.m. and is part of the upcoming Homecoming Weekend on campus.
