GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's lacrosse team continued its season-opening three-game homestand Saturday afternoon by dropping a 14-8 decision to Baldwin Wallace in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field.

Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) also scored for the Wolverines (0-2).
Rowell and sophomore
Meah Groves (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) both recorded assists for Grove City, which trailed 5-4 at halftime.
Grove City out-shot Baldwin Wallace, 30-26, although BWU held a 23-21 advantage in shots on goal. Grove City forced 25 Baldwin Wallace turnovers. The Wolverines turned over possession 19 times.
Nazigian led Grove City with six ground balls. Sophomore goalie
Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) recorded five ground balls. Kiggins also stopped nine shots in goal.
The Wolverines will host Medaille at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field.
