GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Senior midfielder
Brett Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) became the first Grove City College men's lacrosse player to surpass the 200-point mark for his career as his eight-point outing Wednesday night helped lift the Wolverines to a 27-3 home win over Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field.
Gladstone fired in five goals and added three assists, giving him a conference-best 44 goals and 63 total points this season. He now has 159 career goals and 46 assists, good for 205 career points.

Trey Zabroski (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) all scored three times for Grove City (10-4, 4-0 PAC).

Michael La Forte (Waterford, Conn./Waterford) scored twice and added a pair of assists. Senior defender

James Petrolle (Damascus, Md./Damascus) joined Gladstone in recording a team-high three assists. Blythe assisted two goals. Senior

David Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) each contributed an assist.
Grove City led 3-0 after the first quarter, then broke open the game with 10 goals in the second quarter. Grove City led 13-1 at halftime and 22-2 after 45 minutes.
Senior
Keith Torrillo (Latrobe, Pa./Latrobe) won 12 of 13 faceoffs while Evans won 11 of 11 opportunities. Sophomore
Jack Atwood (Hudson, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) won 4 of his 5 faceoffs.
Evans led Grove City with eight ground balls. Hougan recorded six ground balls while Blythe and Torrillo each tallied five ground balls. Gladstone also caused a team-high four turnovers and Blythe caused two turnovers.
Sophomore
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) earned the win in goal by making one save in the first half. Senior
R.J. Miller (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) made three saves in the second half.
Grove City set a single-game program record with 86 total shots and 55 shots on goal Wednesday night. Bethany finished with 15 total shots. Grove City had 20 turnovers while Bethany turned over possession 37 times.
Winners of eight straight, Grove City continues its three-game homestand Saturday when the Wolverines host Franciscan at Thorn Field. Saturday's conference game will start at 3 p.m.
