BETHANY, W.Va. -- Four Grove City College women's lacrosse players scored multiple goals Saturday afternoon to help lead the Wolverines to a 16-9 road win over Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Rine Field. It is Grove City's eighth straight win after a season-opening setback February 23 to Marietta.
Senior attack
Brooke Stoltzfus (Elverson, Pa./Conestoga Christian) paced Grove City's offensive attack by scoring six times and assisting two other scores. Junior midfielder
Madison Nazigian (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) scored four times while sophomore midfielder
Lucy Martin (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) and freshman attack
Abby Roetering (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) each fired in a pair of goals.

Grace Dymski (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) and sophomore attack
Madeline Dunda (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) also scored for the Wolverines (8-1, 2-0 PAC). Dunda, Martin, Nazigian and freshman defender
Sarah Jackson (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) all recorded assists in Saturday's victory.
Grove City led 4-3 after one quarter before extending the lead to 7-3 by halftime as Stoltzfus scored twice and assisted a Martin goal. Nazigian, Roetering and Dymski all scored in the first four minutes of the third quarter to break open the game.
Nazigian led Grove City with six draw controls. Jackson and freshman midfielder
Emily Arnold (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) both had four draw controls. Arnold led Grove City with nine ground balls while Roetering recorded seven ground balls. Martin and Nazigian each picked up a half-dozen ground balls and Jackson chalked up five.Â
Roetering caused a season-high seven turnovers to help lead the Grove City defense. Arnold and Martin both caused four turnovers. Grove City harassed Bethany into committing 38 turnovers. Grove City had 30 turnovers.
Grove City held a 39-26 edge in total shots. In goal, freshman
Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) stopped 15 shots to earn her eighth win of the season.Â
The Wolverines will host Franciscan at 6 p.m. Tuesday in conference action at Robert E. Thorn Field.
