Clara Hannon (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) fired in a career-high 18 points and senior forward
Allison Podkul (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) posted an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double to help lead the Grove City women's basketball team to a 65-43 victory Tuesday night over visiting Saint Vincent in the quarterfinals of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament at the Grove City College Arena.
Third-seeded Grove City (17-8) will now face archrival Westminster in Thursday's semifinals at 6 p.m.Â

Mara Polczynski (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) added field goals during the early run.Â
Back-to-back Kallock field goals in the final 90 seconds of the quarter gave Grove City a 25-10 lead by the end of the period.
Grove City led 36-25 at halftime. No. 6 seed Saint Vincent trimmed the lead to single digits twice in the third quarter but the Wolverines broke open the game with a 7-0 spurt midway through the period. Hannon drained a three-pointer while Podkul and freshman guard
Ashley Durig (Washington, Pa./Trinity) each followed with a pair of free throws.Â
Grove City led 51-37 after 30 minutes and then maintained a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter.
Kallock finished with nine points and Cano contributed eight points. Grove City shot 24 of 68 (35 percent) from the field while Saint Vincent went 17 of 56 (30 percent). Grove City limited Saint Vincent to 7-of-28 (25 percent) shooting in the second half.Â
Freshman guard
Haley Hertzler (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) added six rebounds to help Grove City earn a 43-41 edge on the glass. Polczynski distributed seven assists.Â
Hannon recorded four steals while Kallock, Podkul and Polczynski all tallied three thefts. Grove City forced 23 turnovers. The Wolverines turned over the ball 14 times.Â
Ella Marconi paced Saint Vincent (8-14) with 11 points.Â
Polczynski now has 103 assists this season. That is the No. 8 total on Grove City's single-season list. It is also a single-season program record for a rookie.
Grove City will visit Westminster in Thursday's semifinals. The teams split the two regular season meetings, with the home team winning each game.Â
