WEIRTON, W.Va. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped a 25-20, 25-23, 16-25, 25-17 decision Wednesday night to host Franciscan in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Weirton Madonna High School.
Junior
Anna DeGraaf (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) paced Grove City (14-9, 4-2 PAC) with 10 kills while senior
Faith Keating (Troy, Mich./Troy) contributed eight kills. Senior
Robyn Collier (Corona, Calif./Carnegie Riverside) and junior
Grace Kim (Sanford, N.C./Homeschooled) both posted seven kills.
Sophomore setter
Kennedy Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) paced the offense with 26 assists. She also served three aces.
Sophomore
Audrey Donnelly (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge) led Grove City's defensive efforts with eight blocks. Collier and junior
Eloise Augustine (West Chester, Ohio/Mars Hill) both had a pair of blocks.
Keating racked up a team-high 25 digs. Junior
Gabby Lucas (Butler, Pa./Butler) recorded 23 digs and Kim added 15 digs.
The Wolverines entered Wednesday's match on a four-match win streak. Grove City will visit Washington & Jefferson in conference play Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
