CRESSON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team recorded its second shutout win of 2021 Monday night by securing a 2-0 victory at Mount Aloysius in non-conference play.

Britta Lagerquist (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) scored her first goal of the season. Lagerquist blasted the ball into the upper left corner of the goal from 25 yards out, opening the scoring.

Hailey Weinert (Bel Air, Md./Kennett, Pa.) doubled the lead at 69:23 with her second goal of the season.
Grove City outshot the Mounties, 23-2, including a 12-1 edge in shots on goal. Grove City had seven corner kicks and Mount Aloysius had two corners.

Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars) made one save to earn her second career shutout.
Grove City (3-5) will open Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday night at Washington & Jefferson. The match will begin at 6 p.m.
