ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team's three-match win streak ended Wednesday night as host Penn State Behrend downed Grove City, 25-7, 22-25, 25-15, 25-10 in non-conference action at the Junker Center.
Sophomore
Eloise Augustine (West Chester, Ohio/Mars Hill Academy) led Grove City with a career-high 10 kills while classmate
Anna DeGraaf (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) posted seven kills. Junior
Faith Keating (Troy, Mich./Troy) and freshman
Audrey Donnelly (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge) both added six kills.
Freshman setter
Katie Kenlein (Spokane, Wash./Lewis and Clark) distributed 23 assists.
DeGraaf and Donnelly each recorded two blocks for Grove City. Freshman
Mya Lathem (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge) paced the Wolverines with 21 digs. Sophomore
Grace Kim (Sanford, N.C./Homeschooled) recorded 18 digs. Kenlein (11) and Keating (10) also registered double-digit dig totals.
Grove City (4-4) will open its Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule Saturday with a 4 p.m. tri-match against Bethany and Saint Vincent.
