GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision Wednesday afternoon to visiting Penn State Behrend in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field.
Behrend (3-3) broke a scoreless tie by scoring twice in the final 15 minutes. Logan Brinsky scored on a penalty kick at 75:37 to open the scoring. Justin Hockenberger scored off of a deflected free kick at 86:00 to double Behrend's lead.
Senior goalkeeper
Luke Greenway (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) recorded two saves for Grove City. Penn State Behrend outshot the Wolverines, 11-9. Grove City put six of its nine shots on goal, however.
Behrend had four corner kicks and Grove City had three corners.
Grove City will host Buffalo State at 2 p.m. Saturday in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field.
